Nepali students to participate in International Water Rocket event

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: The winners of the‘10th National Water Rocket 2018’ have qualified to participate in the International Water Rocket 2018 in Singapore, this November. The competition was held on Saturday at The Celebration Co-ed School, Jorpati.

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: The winners of the‘10th National Water Rocket 2018’ have qualified to participate in the International Water Rocket 2018 in Singapore, this November. The competition was held on Saturday at The Celebration Co-ed School, Jorpati.


According to the press statement released by event hosts, representatives of 70 schools participated in the water rocket competition. The water rockets were made of waste plastic water bottles and soft drink bottles with fancy decoration.

Jolly Sunuwar and Rajiya Khatun of Brain Heart School, Ayush Bhattarai and Anup Katuwal of The Celebration Co-ed School and Saksham Phuyal and Sushil Basnet of Adarsha Secondary School won the first, second and third positions respectively.


The event was jointly organized by Nepal Scientific Activities and Research Center, The Celebration Co-Ed, and Science Teachers’ Association of Nepal.
