Nepali women football team coach Hari Khadka resigns

POKHARA, Dec 9: Hari Khadka, the coach of the Nepali women football team has stepped down from his post after Nepal faced a defeat in the hands of India at the ongoing 13th South Asian Games.

POKHARA, Dec 9: Hari Khadka, the coach of the Nepali women football team has stepped down from his post after Nepal faced a defeat in the hands of India at the ongoing 13th South Asian Games.


Nepali women football team faced a 2-0 defeat in the football match held in Pokhara. Talking to reporters, Khadka said that he resigned on moral grounds after Nepal was forced to settle for a silver medal.

However, he vowed to work closely with the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the national football governing body.
