KATHMANDU, Nov 13: Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has bagged 'Financial Institution of the year- Insurance Company' in the 'Best Practices Award 2016' segment.
Issuing a statement, the life insurance company said that Frost & Sullivan, a market research and consulting firm, provided the award to the company during 'Growth Innovation and Leadership Summit 2016' held in Kathmandu recently.
After receiving the award, Vivek Jha, the CEO of NLIC, said that only 6 to 7 percent of the population have access to insurance facility.
