No decision regarding holiday on Wednesday: Home Ministry

Kathmandu, July 5: The Home Ministry has said that its attention has been drawn towards news reports of Wednesday being a public holiday on the occasion of Eid al-fitr.



Attention has been drawn towards the news disseminated by some online regarding a holiday, said Assistant Spokesperson at the Ministry, Jhamkanath Dhakal in a press release, making it clear that the Ministry has not published any notice in this regard.



Meanwhile, talking to the National News Agency (RSS), Ministry Spokesperson Yadav Koirala said that the Council of Ministers has already decided regarding public holiday on the occasion of Eid and added that the decision has not been made regarding the day for the holiday.



He clarified that they will inform about the holiday issuing a press release in this regard. RSS
