Now civil servants can fill up transfer form online

KATHMANDU, July 18: The civil servants need not travel all the way to the capital for filling up forms seeking transfer with the Ministry of General Administration providing this facility online.

KATHMANDU, July 18: The civil servants need not travel all the way to the capital for filling up forms seeking transfer with the Ministry of General Administration providing this facility online.



Joint-Secretary and Spokesperson at the Ministry, Neeta Pokharel Aryal said arrangements have been made for transferring civil servants through filling up form online for the convenience of the civil servants and to make the transfers systematic.



"The Ministry has made arrangements from today wherein the civil servants can fill up the transfer form online. They will be transferred on the basis of that form," she added.



The Ministry has made this facility available to civil servants of the class-less level to the Gazetted Second Class Level for transfer within the ministry or bodies concerned. The Ministry has the provision of making the transfers of civil servants in the Nepali month Saun annually.



"The civil servants from areas having internet access need not come to Kathmandu now for submitting the letters seeking transfer. We have made arrangements for filling up the form for transfer online," Spokesperson Pokharel said. However, those not filling the transfer form online will have to fill up the form coming to the Ministry like before, she added.



The civil servants filling up the form for transfer online will do so selecting which Ministry or body they would like to be transferred to. After filling up the form and submitting it online, the civil servants doing so would get information of the registration of the transfer and the registration number through SMS, said Under-Secretary Mukesh Kumar Keshari.



Keshari said after filling up the form, the civil servant will get instant information through software whether the transfer has been confirmed or not.



According to him, there are 83,570 civil servants in the country. He said as many as 3,500 public servants are transferred annually. Ten civil servants are learnt to have filled up the transfer form online on the first day of the start of the service today. RSS
