KATHMANDU, Nov 27: To ease the traffic pressure in the Kathmandu valley during the Asia Pacific Summit (APS), the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division has imposed ‘odd-even’ system for the vehicles starting from November 29 till December 2.
This system will be applicable for two wheelers and four wheelers vehicles. Likewise, this system will be valid for the vehicles belonging to diplomatic missions in the valley as well.

However, this system will not be applicable for transportations belonging to education institutions and emergency services. According to the system, on November 29 and December 1 the vehicles having the number plate ending with odd numbers ( 1,3,5,7,9) can run on the road whereas, on November 30 and December 2, the vehicles with number plate ending with even numbers (0,2,4,6,8) can travel on the road.
