KATHMANDU, Aug 13: The KP Oli-led government has unveiled its achievements made during the period of five months on Monday.
According to a report unveiled today, the achievements include ending syndicate, lackadaisical in development works, maintaining frugality in the public expenses, controlling over irrelevant foreign visits, curbing gold smuggling, among others.
Similarly, the government has included a field survey of the waterway, collecting revenue more than it had targeted, increasing expenses in the development sector and rendering efforts toward seeking a long-term solution to the inundation as its achievements made so far.

It has boasted that it has upgraded the Narayan-Mugling road section, completed 80 percent of the Simara-Bardibas railway track, construction of arch-bridge over the Trishuli River and a tunnel construction at Nagdhunga.
It has also proudly mentioned to have replaced a total of 90 tuins with suspension bridges in the period of five months.
The other achievements mentioned in the report include construction of a six-kilometer-long Bheri-Babai diversion, oil storage at Battar in Nuwakot, Aanbukhaireni of Tanahun, selection of oil storage spots in Kavrepalanchowk and Lalitpur.
