Palpa Hospital sealed off after a patient tests positive for COVID-19

PALPA, Sept 7: Palpa Hospital has been sealed off after a patient was diagnosed with novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

PALPA, Sept 7: Palpa Hospital has been sealed off after a patient was diagnosed with novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).


All services except emergency have been closed since Sunday evening; according to the chairperson of Palpa Hospital, Netra Pandey.

An 82-year-old woman from Tansen Municipality-11 who is undergoing treatment at the hospital tested positive for COVID-19 recently. She was admitted to the hospital last week. The woman is also mother of an employee of Palpa Hospital.
