KATHMANDU, Dec 5: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecasted partly cloudy throughout the country on the day of the second phase of the elections, December 7.
Likewise, the division has forecasted light rain in few places in western part of the country, covering Province 4 to7.
Westerly wind likely to bring rain from late this afternoon
Issuing a special bulletin on Tuesday, the division has forecasted mostly cloudy in Province 4 to 7 on Wednesday and partly cloudy in Province 1 to 3.
According to meteorologist Shanti Kandel of the division, the active cyclone in the Arabian Sea has lead partial cloudy, light rain and drop in the temperature.
“Due to the cyclone, light to moderate snowfall at some places of the central and western high mountainous regions have occurred on Tuesday”, said Kandel adding that there is a possibility of light snowfall at the central high mountainous region on Wednesday. A further drop in the temperature can be felt on Wednesday, the bulletin reads.
