PM Deuba assures flood victims of soft loan upto Rs 1.5 m

SAPTARI, July 7: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba who is in Saptari to observe the flood-affected areas has announced that the government will provide the families who were displaced by flood that occurred few days ago  with Rs. 25, 000 each.

SAPTARI, July 7: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba who is in Saptari to observe the flood-affected areas has announced that the government will provide the families who were displaced by flood that occurred few days ago  with Rs. 25, 000 each.


Speaking at a program organized at Bhedia in Saptari, he also announced that the victims will be given soft loan up to  Rs. 1.5 million.

PM Deuba has said that a parliamentary committee will be formed to conduct probe into the irregularities in  connection with Mahuli and Khanro dam .


Home Minister who is accompanying Prime  Minister Deuba instructed the concerned government officials to provide the victims with free food and drinking water.


He also instructed them to run a free health camp in the areas affected by the flood.
