PM directs newly appointed IGP Aryal to maintain peace and security

KATHMANDU, April 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' today directed newly appointed Inspector General of Police Prakash Aryal to steer police department to stick to commitment to maintain peace and security.

KATHMANDU, April 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' today directed newly appointed Inspector General of Police Prakash Aryal to steer police department to stick to commitment to maintain peace and security. 


PM Dahal issued this direction during the meeting with Aryal, who today paid a visit to the PM at his residence in Baluwatar.

PM Dahal also stressed the need for making strong and reliable arrangements for security to hold the local level elections in a free and fair manner, said PM's private Secretariat. 


PM Dahal directed Aryal to execute his responsibilities and that of his whole department endowed by the existing laws in a disciplined and impartial way keeping in mind the approaching polls that are slated for May 14, said the Secretariat. RSS
