Nepali Congress (NC) Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the PM told the meeting that the World Bank should be asked and the work plan should be revised to provide Rs 200,000 to earthquake victims in a lump sum.

Top leaders of major political parties held discussions after Nepali Congress (NC) continued to obstruct the Legislature-Parliament demanding to dole out the amount to quake victims.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal are still present at the meeting underway at the parliament building.

Major parties yesterday had formed a seven-member task force to resolve the issue after NC remained adamant on obstructing the House.
