PM monitors ministries' progress thru online

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: In a bid to expedite the ministries' performance and ensure better results, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is monitoring the progress details of different ministries through online system.

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: In a bid to expedite the ministries' performance and ensure better results, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is monitoring the progress details of different ministries through online system. 


Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Binod Bahadur Kunwar said that the PM is carrying out regular monitoring of different ministries' activities from his office.

The secretaries of all ministries update the progress reports of their ministries in the software developed by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and the PM monitors those details through online. 


"Secretaries of all the ministries update the progress report of the previous month of their ministries in the software within the 7th of every month. The PM is monitoring those details," he said adding that the PM himself is monitoring those activities realizing the slow performance in the ministries. 


According to PM's press advisor Dr Kundan Aryal, the PM is closely monitoring the ministries' performance on regular basis. "The PM is familiar with the progress of the ministries from regular monitoring. The PM himself issues directions to the ministers and secretaries in some of the problems seen during monitoring," Dr Aryal added. 


Likewise, Kunwar shared that the Office of the Prime Minister is troubleshooting the hassles appeared in the action plans on policy basis. "We are assisting in policy-level and structural level. But, the direction is to complete the task in the given timeframe," he added. 


It is noted that the government has issued directives to ministries concerned to expedite the development and infrastructure works. "The development and infrastructure works could not have happened prior to this due to rainy season and festivals. Now, the development constructions related to physical infrastructures works supposed to be executed within this fiscal year would be expedited," Spokesperson Kunwar shared. RSS
