KATHMANDU, April 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has committed to end all kinds of irregularities as government was moving ahead on the way to good governance and prosperity.
While inaugurating the Madan Bhandari Memorial Park here today, PM Oli stressed on good governance and added that the corruption and other kinds of irregularities would be put to an end at any cost. He said the government was in the mission of making the nation well-developed and prosperous.
He further opined for establishing the agro-based industries to create employment in the country.
Scoffing at the Nepali Congress, Prime Minister Oli said, "Some are saying that signs of totalitarianism have begun to be seen. Totalitarianism will be seen when the load shedding is ended, roads are widened, water from the Melamchi project is brought to Kathmandu and the railway is constructed in the country."
He said that Nepal will not be backward in the development as it competes with all. PM reiterated to complete the construction of Kathmandu-Nijgadh Fast Track, Pokhara, Bhairahawa and Bara International Airport among other major projects in time.

Premier Oli also remembered the role of Pushpa Lal Shrestha (founder general secretary of CPN), BP Koirala (first elected PM), and people's leader Madan Bhandari, democracy fighter Ganesh Man Singh and Man Mohan Adhikari (fist communist PM).
On the occasion, PM Oli said that people's leader Madan Bhandari was a national thinker and loved by people therefore he should be treated as the common figure of the nation.
Similarly, leader Madhav Nepal opined for expediting the developmental projects as country was on the way to prosperity. He also termed Bhandari as national icon.
Attorney general Agni Kharel shared that the park constructed in the memory of leader Bhandari was a beautiful one.
Kathmandu Valley Development Authority Chief Bhaikaji Tiwari said that the park was constructed in public-private model.
The park is constructed at Mahadevsthan-Koteshwar-32 in the capital.
The park is spread in 3.13 ropanis of land. It has a life-size statue of leader Bhandari. There are plants with beautiful flowers in the park. The park was constructed at a total cost of Rs 30.22 million.
