According to the Prime Minister’s Personal Secretariat, PM Dahal requested the five commissioners to take ahead the works of the constitutional anti-graft body.

The Prime Minister told the commissioners that the government will not hinder CIAA’s work, but was ready for necessary assistance.

As many as 157 lawmakers from the main opposition CPN-UML and major ruling party CPN (Maoist Center) had registered an impeachment motion against Karki in the parliament on October 19.
