Police arrest Chand-led group's Jumla in-charge

JUMLA, June 13: Police have arrested a district leader of the Netra Bikram Chand-led group from Sija rural municipality of Jumla last night.

JUMLA, June 13: Police have arrested a district leader of the Netra Bikram Chand-led group from Sija rural municipality of Jumla last night.   


A team of police from the District Police Jumla arrested Chandrabir Tiruwa alias Rabikiran, the district in-charge of the underground group.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Sitaram Rijal told Republica Online that the district leader has been taken into custody at District Police Office, Jumla. Earlier, Tiruwa was arrested from a Sundhara-based hotel in Kathmandu.
