Police confiscate guns, scrap license of Mahesh Bdr Singh

KATHMANDU, June 26: The Metropolitan Crime Division has confiscated six licensed weapons of Mahesh Bahadur Singh. Singh was found to seize contracting deals by showing guns and terrorizing public by carrying them in public vehicles. Singh had also used the weapons to extort money.

Police said that they had confiscated registered guns and bullets of Singh and handed over to the government’s treasury. The seized weapons include two Bore shotguns, three bore rifles, 136 rounds of bullets. Police have also cancelled Singh’s license under Clause 11 of Arms and Ammunition Act, 2019.
