President Bhandari suggests to people’s representatives to formulate plans of public interest

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has suggested the people's representatives' organizations to forward the plan of public welfare by identifying the available means and resources and evaluating the capacity of its mobilization as per people's interest.

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has suggested to the people's representatives' organisations to take forward plans of public welfare by identifying the available means and resources and evaluating the capacity of its mobilization as per the people's interest. 


Inaugurating the third National Council of Association of District Coordination Committees of Nepal (NCADCCN) here today, President Bhandari said that activities should be carried out keeping human development along with infrastructure in priority for overall transformation of the country.

She opined, "The people's representatives organisations should contribute to building an equitable society by increasing educational and social awareness."


Lauding the role played by the local governments in the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19, the president said, "I want to appeal to and call on the people's representatives to facilitate public activities at a time when the coronavirus infection has not completely come under control.” 


On the occasion, President Bhandari launched a book incorporating the introduction of the office-bearers of every district along with five outstanding works carried out in the district.
