KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has reasoned the change in the previous government for the cause of resolving the differences with the disgruntled Madhes-centric political parties.

Inaugurating the fourth convention of the Nepal Tarun Dal, Kathmandu Chapter here today, leader Singh confided that holding election for local bodies', provincial and central level within the stipulated time was herculean task unless a political consensus is forged among the political parties.

Former president of the Tarun Dal and Minister for Defense Balkrishna Khand argued the role and responsibility of the youth wing of NC was huge to promote and imbibe the democratic ideologies of the NC among the youths in the country.

Similarly, Tarun Dal President and parliamentarian Udaya Shumsher Rana spoke of the need to establish Tarun Dal as an institution revered by the opposing association.

He was also quick to add that the fourth general convention of Tarun Dal will be held within the stipulated time although the district convention of the association in some districts was not held owing to internal disputes.

Likewise, NC Kathmandu Chapter President Sabuj Baniya pointed out the need for the leadership that would embrace the sentiments and aspirations of all youths in the organization.

He also suggested to put in place a mechanism wherein a member of one sister organization cannot run election in the other sister organization within the party. RSS
