RJPN-PP meets five months after polls results

KATHMANDU, April 5: Rasrtiya Janta Party Nepal’s party parliamentary (PP) meeting has started at the party's parliamentary office, Singha Durbar on Thursday five months after the election results.

KATHMANDU, April 5: Rasrtiya Janta Party Nepal’s party parliamentary (PP) meeting has started at the party's parliamentary office, Singha Durbar on Thursday five months after the election results.


Due to delaying on the PP meeting, RJPN has not appointed the party parliamentary leader. In the meeting, leaders are likely to discuss the statute of the party, said Sharat Singh Bhandari, a member of the presidium.

The presidium meeting held on Wednesday set April 20 for celebrating the party establishment day. Likewise, RJPN scheduled the meeting of the Political committee for April 21.The meeting will  declare the date for general convention.


During the party unification held on 20 April, 2017, they had decided to hold general convention within one year. However, they failed to hold the convention.
