BHAKTAPUR, April 6: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that the current ruling alliance has already developed deep fissures and it is only a matter of time when it falls apart. “Since the alliance has already rotted, it would soon fall like fruits falling from a rotten tree,” remarked Oli, who is known for lampooning opposition leaders and parties.
Speaking at the inauguration and handover ceremony of the building of Shanti Niketan Secondary School at Sipadol-8, Suryabinayak Municipality, Bhaktapur on Wednesday, former Prime Minister Oli said that the condition of the alliance was the same as that of a fruit that does not fall as soon as it rots. “The condition of the alliance has become the same,” he added.

“But eventually, like rotten fruit, the alliance too will begin to disintegrate”, said Oli, hinting that the current ruling alliance would be broken at the time of fielding common candidates for the local polls. He said that the wave of development would start after the next election.
He also claimed that the UML would win the election and then there would be a wave of development in education and health. He pointed out the need to teach students about patriotism right now.
