Scholarship fund set up

BENI, March 16: Students who graduated secondary level education from Mahendra Ratna School, Baranja have set up a scholarship fund of Rs 400,000. 


Chairperson of Mahendra Ratna Higher Secondary ex-Student Union, Lokesh Pun Magar shared that the scholarship fund was established to support the poor and intelligent students in their education.

He further informed that the fund would be enlarged to Rs 1,000,000. The interest received from the fund would be spent to provide scholarship to students. 


The ex-Student Union Chair Pun has set up a revolving fund of Rs 100,000 in memory of his sister Om Kumari Pun. The fund will also contribute to the same purpose. 


Meanwhile, local women have materialized their efforts to construct motor way in Annapurna rural municipality-3 and 4. 


Women associated to four different mother groups here have put their kind labour to construct one kilometre road stretching from ward no 3 to 4. RSS
