POKHARA, Oct 13: At least six passengers were injured in a bus accident occurred at Annapurna rural municipality-3, Paudur along the Pokhara-Baglung Highway on Thursday.
The accident took place when a Pokhara-bound bus (Na 6 Kha 8936) from Baglung fell down 10 metres off the road. Six out of 23 passengers of the bus were injured, shared Superintendant of Police (SP) of Nepal Police Province-4, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar.
Motorcyclist killed in road mishap
Among the injured are Battu Saha, 41, of Ranighat, Parsa, Soni Gurung, 26, and Bikram Gurung of Kushma municplaity-4, Parbat, Samjhana BK, 28, of Annapurna rural municipality-6, Ramu Pariwar, 28, of Kushma municipality-5 and Bindeswor Saha Rauniyar, 50, of Bhawanipur-9, Rautahat.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Fishtail Hospital in Pokhara. Police said that a big loss of life and property was avoided when the bus was stuck on a tree. (RSS)
