A short notice detailing the blood type, and the number of the recipient’s immediate relative ensures blood is supplied to patients on time. Moreover, Facebook groups campaigning for blood supplies operate in full swing, urging the netizens to help save lives. Also, blood donation campaigns are conducted time and again by the youths to decrease the insufficiency of blood in hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical departments. For the users’ convenience, developers have further created applications that connect donors with beneficiaries.
