KOHALPUR, April 24: Three children were killed as the house where they were sleeping was reduced to cinders after it caught fire on Sunday in Dubuwa Rural Municipality of Banke.
The deceased have been identified as Pawan Maurya, 6, Soni Mairya, 10 and Rajhani Maurya, 8.

The house where the victims were sleeping suddenly caught fire on Sunday night. The fire was fueled by wind.
A total of eight houses were reduced to ashes. The monetary value of the property gutted by the blaze is yet to be estimated, the local police told Republica Online.
According to Chief of Banke Police SP Tek Prasad Rai, the house caught fire as parents were away. The fire was doused by Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Locals.
