GULMI, Oct 15: Two people were killed in a jeep accident in Chandakot Rural Municipality in Gulmi, on Monday.
The jeep slipped off the road and plunged some 300 meters down into a local river at Wajing in Gulmi when it was en route to Chandakot from Kalepokhara of Baglung. The deceased have been identified as Bharat Bahadur Gurung, aged 49 and Lal Bahadur Gurung, aged 36, from Chandakot.

Meanwhile, one person killed and four persons were injured when an auto met an accident in Naubahini Municipality in Pyuthan on Sunday night, according to Pyuthan Police Chief Nirmal Budathoki.
The deceased has been identified as 69-year-old Taradevi Pun of Naubahini. Police have taken auto driver Lal Bahadur Gurung into custody.
