After failing to get jobs on foreign soil, they had called up Secretariat of the Prime Minister and requested for rescuing them. In response to their appeal for rescue, the Office in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Labor started processes at the diplomatic level to bring them back to the country. The Nepali Embassy in Qatar facilitated the rescue efforts and they finally arrived here on January 25.

According to PM's press advisor Govinda Acharya, now the Office is working to make the manpower company to refund the amount the victims paid to it for processing their visas. RSS
