Stating that it is not possible to start and complete all tasks at once, they have strongly urged all tourism entrepreneurs and professionals to demand for implementation of on-arrival visa and issuance of a travel advisory to spread a positive message in this regard as most of the service providers working in Nepal's tourism and the local community of the main destination have also been fully vaccinated.

Compared to 2019, the number of tourist arrivals in 2020 has decreased by 81 percent. The employment of about one million people in the tourism sector involved directly or indirectly is in crisis.

The tourism sector, which has an investment of over Rs 400 billion of the banking and financial sector alone, is at high risk. More than 25 percent of tourism businesses and entrepreneurs have been shut down and the rate of tourism entrepreneurs choosing to permanently shut down their business is set to rise if there was no immediate recovery plan on the part of the government.
