CHITWAN, March 21: Vehicular movement along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section is to come to a halt for six hours daily to expedite the ongoing road upgrading task so that it can be completed before the arrival of the rainy season. The new provision will come into effect from March 28.

Presently, vehicles are prevented from plying on the 36- kilometre section from 10:30 am to 3 pm (four and half hours) in a day in view of the ongoing road widening works. The decision to increase the duration for the suspension of traffic movement by an additional one and half hours is aimed at making the works more effective, according to project's Engineer Shiva Khanal.
