CHITWAN, Aug 27: Police have rescued seven people who were plunged into Trishuli River along with a truck at Jalbire along Narayangadh-Muglin road section this morning.
Chief at the District Police Office, Superintendent of Police Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, the truck (Na 3 Kha 4556) heading towards to Narayangadh from Muglin carrying sand plunged into the River.
Police rescued three children, two women and two men. Police Inspector Yogendra Bahadur Hamal said that the injured have been sent to Bharatpur for treatment.
A team from Nepal Police and Armed Police Disaster Management Training Centre, Kurintar, had carried out rescue operation.
A total of 22 people lost their lives, 16 others were injured and four had gone missing when a bus plunged into Trishuli River at same place on Friday. RSS
