Two held with banned drugs

KANCHANPUR, Jan 6: The Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested two people along with prohibited drugs of Nitravet brand name from Gaddachauki, the eastern Nepal-India border in Kanchanpur.

KANCHANPUR, Jan 6: The Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested two people along with prohibited drugs of Nitravet brand name from Gaddachauki, the eastern Nepal-India border in Kanchanpur.

Ramsingh Dhami, 23, of Bhimduttanagar Municipality-10 and Madan Giri of Beldandi Municipality- 6 were nabbed this morning in possession of 1,050 strips of the banned drugs Nitravet. APF Deputy Superintendent of Police Netra KC confirmed the arrest. 


Preliminary investigations into the case showed that Dhami was long involved in the drugs smuggling and he allured Giri join him in his failed attempt to transport the drugs into Nepal from Indian market Banbasa by offering alcohol. The APF is preparing to hand over them to the District Police Office Kanchanpur. RSS
