BAITADI June 15: Two persons died on the spot while scores sustained injuries in a road accident in Baitadi district today.
The deceased have been identified as Lal Singh Mahata, 58, of Shivanath-4 of Baitadi district and Shiva Chaudhary of Attariya, Kailali, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Baitadi, Heramba Sharma.

The accident took place when the jeep (Se 1 Cha 1158) heading towards Kushmatghat from Sullekhan of the district fell some 20 metres off the road at Shivanath-2 at 11:00 am.
Similarly, jeep owner Hikmat Bohara of Godawari Municipality-1 in Kailali and Haridutta Bhatta of Melauli Municipality-9 in Baitadi district were injured in the accident. Chaudhary was the jeep driver. RSS
