DANG, March 2: Two people were killed while 24 others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in the district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as bus driver Bibaran Chaudhary, 19, of Tulsipur. Chaudhary died when the bus, Ra 1 Kha 941, heading to Nepalgunj from Tulsipur collided head-on with a truck, Se 1 Kha 1287, coming from the opposite direction, said District Police Office, Dang.

Chaudhary died in the course of treatment in Nepalgunj. The condition of the four among those injured is said to be critical.
Similarly, a motorcyclist died after his motorcycle skidded and fell some 600 meters off the road at Harneti in Tulsipur-1 today.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Adhikari of Sarada Municipality-1, Salyan, said police.
