KATHMANDU, Dec 7: CPN-UML Secretary Gokarna Bista has warned of obstructing the Parliament and protesting in the streets unless the constitution amendment bill is withdrawn.

Speaking at an interaction at Reporters’ Club in the Capital City on Wednesday, Bista said that the need of the hour was to implement the constitution rather than amending it.

“How will be the constitution implemented in such as a case?,” he questioned.

Saying that the constitution has hypothesized formation of federal assemblies for making changes in demarcation of provinces, Bista termed the registration of the bill as unconstitutional.
