KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that the weather will remain mostly clear across the country today.
The weather is expected to be generally clear as there is a general influence of the low pressure system in the eastern and central parts of Nepal, as well as in the surrounding areas of Bangladesh.
Weather to remain generally clear across Nepal
The MFD has said that the weather will be mostly clear in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces today with a partial to normal cloudy weather in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places in Lumbini Province.
The weather is said to be mostly clear in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces tonight with partial to normal showers in the rest of the provinces. The officials of MFD have also said that there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
The MFD has also requested everyone to take necessary precautions as there is a possibility of rainfall in some places.
