KATHMANDU, Feb 8: There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather in Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds.
Weather to remain partly cloudy
At present, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and it is mainly clear in the rest of the country. There is fog in some places in the Terai region.
The weather will be mostly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces this afternoon. There is a chance of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas.
According to the MFD, the weather will be mostly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki province tonight as well. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and Mountainous areas of Gandaki province.
