ROLPA, Jan 11: A woman has died in wait for the arrival of the body of her husband who died one and a half years ago in Saudi Arabia.
Kamala Gurung of Libang – 9, Rolpa died on Monday at 2 pm in wait for the arrival of the mortal remains of her husband, Khum Bahadur Gurung, one of hundreds of thousands of Nepali migrant workers abroad.
Kamala's in-law informed her neighbours after her daughter – in – law fell unconscious while brushing teeth. She died shortly afterwards as neighbours tended to her.
A police team from the District Police Office, Rolpa was sent to the site immediately after receiving the report, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ram Prasad Gharti said.
A preliminary post-mortem examination was held on Tuesday after which the body was handed over to the relatives. Kamala's husband died after being struck by a vehicle of the company he was working for in Saudi Arabia. His body is yet to arrive in Nepal. RSS
