DHANGADHI, July 3: With 333 new cases of coronavirus today, the COVID-19 tally in Sudurpaschim Province has climbed to 2,933.
According to Narendra Singh Karki, the in-charge of Health Division at the Ministry of Social Development in the province, Kailali district alone reported 138 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday morning. As of today, the district has witnessed 874 cases of coronavirus infection.

As of Thursday, Kanchanpur district reported 351 coronavirus cases. 373 persons tested positive for coronavirus in Doti district as of now.
Dadeldhura has 230 cases of COVID-19 while Bajura, Baitadi, Bajhang, Achham, and Darchula have reported 337, 236, 127, 288 and 17 COVID-19 cases respectively as of today, according to Karki.
The COVID-19 death toll in the Sudurpaschim Province has climbed to six.
The province has witnessed steep rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in recent days, local authorities said.
