With 48 new infections in past 24 hours, COVID-19 case tally in Karnali Province reaches 3,276

SURKHET, Sept 24: With 48 new infections of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus case tally in Karnali Province has climbed to 3,276.

SURKHET, Sept 24: With 48 new infections of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus case tally in Karnali Province has climbed to 3,276.


According to the records maintained by the Health Division of the Ministry of Social Development in the province, 2,731 people have been discharged after recovery as of today. Now, the number of active cases of coronavirus in the province stands at 539.

71,997 persons have undergone PCR tests for COVID-19 as of today, the ministry said.


The province has reported six fatalities linked to coronavirus so far.
