GORKHA, July 18: A woman died in a road accident in Ajirkot Rural Municipality- 3 on Monday morning.
According to DSP Lilaraj Lamichanne from the District Police Office, the victim has been identified as Melina Gurung, 23, from Ajirkot Municipality-2, Gorkha. She died on the spot.

In the incident the motorcycle rider, Man Raj Gurung, 35 was injured. He is being treated at Bhachchek health post. He was going to Chitwan with his sister on the motorcycle.
According to the police, the motorcycle with the registration number Ba 03 Pa 4815 coming from Bhachchek toward Gorkha was hit by a Bolero jeep (G 1 J 4886) going from Chhoprak to Bhachchek. DSP Lamichhane said that the Bolero jeep and the driver are under police control.
