DOTI, March 29: A woman who was critically hurt in a wildfire in Doti district died early this morning while receiving treatment.
Chandradevi Bhandari, 41, of Shikhar Municipality-4 in the district was hurt in a forest fire that occurred on Thursday afternoon. Bhandari was injured on her way to the Patalisain Community Forest where she had gone to construct an irrigation system. A team of 25 persons had gone there to work for the irrigation system.

Deputy Superintendent of Police of Doti, Narayan Singh Negi confirmed that Bhandari breathed her last at Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi, Kailali. She was referred to the hospital from Doti on Thursday itself.
