KATHMANDU, June 21: Time is always changing and nothing is more powerful than time. Once a silversmith, Yogendra Shakya is currently working only with metals like copper, brass, bronze, et cetera, not silver.

The reason is, 47 years old, Shakya underwent an operation. He did the operation in 2061 BS as he suffered from brain tumor. Now he is unable to buy required amount of silver. So, other metals became the alternative source for him to craft rings.


He should not be doing any heavy work yet, but he finds life in labor hence says, “I don’t want to stay home. And working keeps me alive.”
