Few days ago, dispute rose over road project that links Khaatiwada VDC, which saw district headquarter tensed.

The DDC had approved two road projects links the VDC.

One road project links the VDC center directly to Dipayal, while another links Mallek to Dipayal passing through some wards of the VDC.

This year, Rs 500,000 under Urban Access Program and Rs 700,000 under Election Constituency Infrastructure Development Program have been allocated for Dipayal-Mallek road project.

Local people from Khaatiwada have been staging sit-in at Dipayal demanding to allocate one of two funds for Dipayal-Khaatiwada project “Both budgets are allocated by all-party mechanism so we can’t do anything” LDO Regmi reacted, which created disputes in the district that saw him leaving Doti.
