Young, Smart and brave

Sanjeev Ghimire is a 21-year-old metropolitan police constable from Bhaktapur. He joined the force just eight months ago. He started to work after completing his high school education from Janapremi College. Sanjeev is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Arts from Koteshwar Multiple Campus.

Sanjeev Ghimire is a 21-year-old metropolitan police constable from Bhaktapur. He joined the force just eight months ago. He started to work after completing his high school education from Janapremi College. Sanjeev is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Arts from Koteshwar Multiple Campus.


He is currently assigned at the metropolitan police office’s gate. Sanjeev says he joined the force because he wanted to earn enough to support his family. He plans to change his job if he finds a better one. He lives with his parents and two elder brothers.

Sanjeev aims to continue his studies and reach a position where he can earn enough to build a proper shelter for himself and his family. “I believe all fields of work should be respected and age is never a bar to do anything. So, we should hold our head high and be the best at whatever we do,” says Sanjeev.
