10 construction companies blacklisted, Shailung banned for three years

KATHMANDU, August 24: The governPment has blacklisted 10 construction dealers or companies.


The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has named Shailung Construction, Johnson Construction and Suppliers, Baliya Construction, Just in Time Construction, Mahalaxmi Wire and Cable Industries, SurgiMed Distributors, SPL Group of Engineers and Tumyehang Nirman Sewa, a Chinese engineering company and India's Aravali Infrapower Limited and blacklisted them for three years.

The government blacklisted Shailung operated by Anup Adhikari and banned it for three years. After the Balaju (Ranipauwa) road was neglected, Shailung was banned by the government on the recommendation of the Road Improvement and Development Project Directorate.
