Chitwan Rhinos to play against home team in the finals

POKHARA,Nov 4: Chitwan Rhinos has set themselves into the final of Pokhara Premier Legue (PPL-2018) by defeating Kathmandu Royals with 6 wickets in the ongoing Pokhara Premier League at Pokhara Rangsala, Pokhara on Sunday.

POKHARA,Nov 4: Chitwan Rhinos have gained a spot in the finals of the Pokhara Premier Legue (PPL-2018), The team defeated Kathmandu Royals by 6 wickets to book their spot in the finals.  


Chasing the target of only 95 runs, Chitwan Rhinos managed to meet the target at 18.2 over with a loss of 4 wickets. SK Patel, H Shah and Aarif Sheikh scored 38,26and 20 runs respectively while securing easy victory aginst Kathmandu Royals.

Sushan Bhari took 3 wickets whereas P Sarraf took 1 wicket for Kathmandu Royals.


Earlier, Kathmandu Royals won the toss and elected to bat first. Kathmandu Royals then made total 94 runs in 19.3 over losing all the wickets.


Gyanendra Malla and J Kolsawal made 30 and 25 runs respectively whereas rests of the batsmen couldnot make double digit score for Kathmandu Royals.


Sunny Patel took highest 3 wickets for Chitwan Royals. SK Patel and B Karki took equal 2 wickets each while Karan KC tool single wicket to restrict Kathmandu Royals from setting the higher run targets.


Now, the Pokhara Paltan and Chitwan Rhinos will tussle for the title on Tuesday for the title.
