BHADRAPUR, Oct 2: Minister for General Administration, Keshav Kumar Budhathoki, said the cooperatives must always remain committed in the interest of the people and the country.

Inaugurating the 17th Annual General Assembly of Mechi Agricultural Multiple Cooperative Ltd here, Minister Budhathoki pointed out that the cooperatives must focus on upgrading the living standards of the share holders rather than earning profit. If the cooperatives can attract the youths going abroad for migrant works, they will get an opportunity to establish themselves in their own country, he added.

He urged the cooperatives to hand out written advice for modification of the cooperatives bill in the parliament. RSS
