HoR to discuss budget-related issues of sports ministry today, line ministers to address lawmakers’ queries

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place at 11 am today at the Parliament House, New Baneshwor.


In today’s meeting, various topics related to the Ministry of Youth and Sports will be discussed under the Appropriation Bill, 2081 BS.

In today's meeting, Member of Parliament (MP) Pushpa Bahadur Shah will present a proposal to reduce the expenditure amount under the heading of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to one rupee as per the Appropriation Bill, 2081 BS. Similarly, Member of Parliament Prem Suwal will present a proposal to reduce the specified amount under the heading of the Ministry of Youth and Sports as per the Appropriation Bill, 2081 BS.


This will mark the conclusion of MPs’ discussions on the ministerial budget headings.


Additionally, the minister is scheduled to address questions raised during the discussion on various topics under the Appropriation Bill, 2081.


Ministers will respond to budget-related queries concerning the Ministry of Health and Population; Ministry of Forestry and Environment; Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security; Ministry of Urban Development; Ministry of Defense; Ministry of Water Supply; and Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens.
