KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale has vowed to solve the problems faced by hotel entrepreneurs.
Minister Ale also said he would take initiatives to address the problems the hotel entrepreneurs face from registration of hotels to making favourable policies. Addressing the 9th annual general meeting of Ekata Hotel and Guesthouse Entrepreneurs' Association on Saturday, he said the hotels and guesthouses have significant roles to play in promoting the tourism sector. “The problems can be solved through cooperation between the ministry and hotel entrepreneurs.”

At the program, the hoteliers and guesthouse owners demanded the Minister pay attention to amend the Tourism Act 2035 and launch schemes to restore the small and mid-scale hotels and guesthouses which suffered the worst due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
