KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Minister for Urban Development, Arjun Narsingh KC has claimed that he has been framed into a disgrace in parliament. Minister KC is being criticized from various quarters after he was caught on camera while ‘spitting tobacco’ in parliament on Monday.

KC said that the video was made viral with an intention to defame him.

In a program organized in the capital to unveil a book titled Mero Jeevanyatra written by Jay Ram Dawadi, an aggressive KC said that the video was taken to defame him.

“I haven’t been feeling well for the past few days. While in the House, I suddenly felt uneasiness in my throat, so I had to spit it. I made a mistake but at the same time, I am amazed by the way the incident was reported in the media without understanding my problem.’’

He added that those who were waiting for an opportunity to give him a bad name got one yesterday. I can’t say if this sort of problem won’t be faced by others in the future,” he said, clarifying that he had spit cinnamon, not tobacco, as reported by the media.
